• The Advocacy Committee is a committee with the purpose of researching best practices, zoning, and ordinances that promote downtown revitalization, and shall make recommendations to the Board of Trustees with respect to proposals to present to

  • The Events and Activities Committee shall report directly to the Board of Trustees and shall assist in the development and implementation of events and other such activities that promote Downtown Sidney.

  • The Finance/Audit Committee shall report directly to the Board of Trustees and shall have the responsibility for reviewing the overall planning of all financial matters of the Corporation, including investments, capital expenditures, budgets and appropriations, and shall make recommendations to the Board of Trustees with respect thereto and also with respect to the formulation and development of the fiscal policies of the Corporation. The Finance/Audit Committee is responsible for the appointment, compensation and oversight of the work of the independent auditor.

  • It is the responsibility of the committee to utilize social media, promote and showcase available or for sale units, and recruit potential businesses as well as the purpose of communicating Sidney Alive’s mission and purpose.

  • The committee shall nominate candidates to be considered for election as trustees of the Board of Trustees. Nominations to the Board of Trustees may also be made at any meeting held for the election of trustees. The Executive Committee shall also present the nominees for officers for election by the Board of Trustees.

  • The committee promotes year-round giving opportunities with corporate and personal donors willing to invest in the revitalization of downtown Sidney.
